Portability

Among the many tools available for personal transportation, electric skateboards excel uniquely in their portability. The Aero Pro epitomizes this concept. It stays with you wherever you go, whether that's to class, to work, or just hanging out in the city. Weighing only 7.0 kilograms (15.5 lbs), it is lighter and easier to carry than even most electric shortboards without compromising on durability or performance.

With the Aero series, we aim to counteract the prevailing trend of electric skateboards growing in size and weight at the expense of portability.

Electronics

The Aero Pro's battery harnesses the acclaimed Molicel P45B cells, widely recognized as the premier choice for personal electric vehicles for their stability and performance. This means ample discharge current headroom, twice as many cell lifespans, and noticeably better performance at freezing or below-freezing temperatures compared to similar-size battery packs using common cells.

Recharging from 20 to 80 percent takes just 60 minutes with the standard 118W charger, or a mind-blowing 15 minutes with the optional 600W fast charger.

Although designed to be a commuter board, the Aero Pro is the most powerful electric skateboard under 7 kilograms to date. It doesn't just go up hills – it launches you up like a rocket and conquers any asphalt you throw at its face.

Drivetrain

Unlike conventional electric skateboard belt drives, the Aero Pro's system incorporates an idler that eliminates belt slippage while requiring significantly less tension. This means less maintenance, effortless tension adjustment, and so little rolling resistance that pushing feels just like pushing an unpowered longboard. All of that while retaining the benefits of a belt drive system like easy maintenance, adjustable gear ratio, and fast wheel swaps!

Trucks

Designed specifically for Aero's double-drop deck and compatibility with big LDP wheels, Aero's Aerolith trucks are notably taller than conventional RKPs while maintaining minimal weight. Machined from a single block of billet 7075-T6511 heat-treated aluminum-zinc alloy, these trucks offer precise handling and are damn near impossible to break.

Deck

Made of T800 carbon fiber, the Aero Pro deck is built to endure the harshest conditions of everyday street riding while weighing less than a conventional electric skateboard deck. The 34-inch length keeps the board compact for storage and portability, and the drop-down design enhances stability.

Range

Like all small vehicles, range is heavily influenced by a variety of factors, including rider weight, usage, terrain, weather, and more. As such, the range you can expect from the Aero Pro (and all electric skateboards) is better expressed in a table rather than a single number based on ideal conditions. The tables below are provided to help you estimate the range you would get.

Very Chill: Calm ride at longboard cruising speeds.
Chill: Relaxed ride with moderate acceleration and cruising speed of around 30 km/h (19 mph).
Demanding: Aggressive ride with hard acceleration and higher cruising speeds, or relaxed ride up a hill.
Very Demanding: Aggressive ride uphill or on grass. This number can vary a lot.

Note: The Aero Pro can be pushed like a longboard more so than the vast majority of electric skateboards. The above estimates do not factor in pushing.
